Escandón & Nedved

BOYSTOWN is a movie musical about two friends - Ned, an insecure white guy from rural Iowa, and Alex, a fearless Mexican-American from the suburbs - looking for love in Chicago’s gay club scene in the early years of this century. Popping with fever-dream visuals and pulsating with Y2K-era electronica, BOYSTOWN is a queer fantasia on addiction, assimilation, and authenticity.
